Caffeine-Free Lavender Tea Recipe

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon dried culinary lavender buds

1 cup hot water (not boiling, about 200°F / 93°C)

(Optional) 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (for sweetness)

(Optional) a slice of lemon, or a few fresh mint leaves

(Optional) 1 teaspoon dried chamomile or lemon balm (for added calm)



Instructions:

1. Boil Water: Bring water to a boil, then let it cool for about 1 minute.


2. Prepare Herbs: Place lavender (and any optional herbs) in a tea infuser, tea ball, or directly into your cup.


3. Steep: Pour the hot water over the lavender. Let steep for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how strong you want the flavor.


4. Strain & Serve: Remove the herbs (strain if loose). Add sweetener or lemon if desired.


5. Enjoy: Sip slowly in a quiet space for maximum relaxation.
