Using the Pain Scale to Communicate Well

Image
My pain scale when I take my prescription pain pills is between 3-5 it depends on how bad it is before taking my prescription pain pills. Before taking prescription pain pills, it is between 6-8. The worst I've ever had is 9-10 when I had my Spinal Fusion Surgery back in May 2007 at 14 years old for Scoliosis 50°+ curve.

Living with Hyperthyroidism/Hypothyroidism

Image
Hypothyroidism/ Hashimoto’s Symptoms  I have Hypothyroidism and the fatigue is like a whole new level of tiredness oh my gosh. Also the sweats/heat sweats heat intolerance/night sweats 😓. I have other symptoms but those are the main ones that can really bring me down at times. I take thyroid medicine and get lab work done as the doctor tells me. I just wish I could have more relief. Less days of symptoms or length of them. I deal with enough as it is with severe back pain & arthritis in my lower back. Spinal Stenosis. Tremor/involuntary movements jerks. I'm 32 will be 33 in February 2026 but some days I feel older. I'm trying a super b complex supplement to see if it helps and vitamin d. If not I'll be going to doctor's. I'm trying to do natural/supplements before potentially having more prescriptions to take on top of already.

I've had Scoliosis since I was 11/12 years old. At 14 years old I had to have Spinal Fusion Surgery done because my curves were 50°+. My spine looked like a S. My shoulders and hips were starting to get uneven on each side. My curves were starting to push on my internal organs. I'm now currently (October 5, 2025) 32 years old and still live in pain. I take over the counter pain medicine and prescription pain medicine (Tramadol). I am getting a medical marijuanas card so hopefully that helps. I have Spinal Stenosis and also Arthritis in my lower back. I have a spot at the top of my back that hurts really bad most of the time. I think it's a pinched nerve. It's close to my Spinal Fusion area so I've only been able to use Tramadol for some relief. It's close to my Spinal Fusion that I don't know if anything else can be done there. I've asked for RFA (radiofrequency ablation) and was told no because of close to my Spinal Fusion. I can only get RF...
