~Lavender Tea Recipe~
Ingredients:
1–2 tsp dried lavender buds (or 2–3 tsp fresh lavender buds)
1 cup (240 ml) hot water
Optional add-ins:
1 tsp honey or agave syrup
1 tsp lemon juice
Chamomile or mint (for a flavor blend)
Instructions:
1. Boil water: Bring 1 cup of water to a near boil (about 200°F or 93°C).
2. Add lavender: Place the lavender buds in a tea infuser, teapot, or mug.
3. Steep: Pour the hot water over the lavender. Let it steep for 5–10 minutes, depending on how strong you want the flavor.
4. Strain: If not using an infuser, strain the tea to remove the buds.
5. Serve: Add honey or lemon if desired. Enjoy warm or let it cool for iced lavender tea.
*Tips*
Use culinary-grade lavender only (not ornamental or sprayed varieties).
Pair with chamomile or green tea for added benefits.
Try iced lavender lemonade: brew strong lavender tea, chill it, and mix with lemon juice and sweetener.
